About Earful
Surveys stopped listening
Somewhere along the way, surveys stopped being conversations. We boxed people into five-point scales and checkbox grids, then wondered why the answers felt hollow. The richest thing a person can give you — their own words, in their own voice — was the one thing the form had no room for.
Earful is our attempt to give it back. People answer by speaking, and AI turns that voice into transcripts, summaries, cross-audience themes, and translations. You get the nuance of an open conversation with the scale of a survey.
Why open source
Feedback is sensitive. It belongs to the people who gave it and the teams who collect it — not locked inside someone else’s black box. So Earful is open source and self-hostable by design:
- Own your data. Run Earful on your own infrastructure and keep every recording.
- Trust through transparency. Anyone can inspect exactly how responses are processed.
- Build what you need. Extend and adapt Earful instead of waiting on a roadmap.
Get involved
Earful is built in the open, and contributions are welcome — code, docs, ideas, or just telling us what’s broken.
